Just to let you know...
I'm not in Korea yet. I still have to fax off my contract to the school, but I have said that I will and have accepted the terms of the contract.
This year is looking to be a great one if all of the good and bad things happen I have heard associated with working abroad happen! I do mean all of the things as well. Gotta take rough with smooth (hoping that there will be a bit more smooth to be quite honest!).
I think the roughest thing will be leaving all of my loved ones at home, in Potters Bar home and in Brighton home (Dad: you dont count as living in one of my homes but you know you are included). I dont get all of the gossip when I'm apart from my peoples... I mean... how will I find out that Yan has stepped in poo on his way to see prospective girlfriend!?!? :D
But right now Korea is a long way away. I am sitting here surrounded with boxes of my useless crap, and whats around me is only a fraction of the rubbish I have thrown away. I'll take a few pictures...
Well thats what my desk looks like, and you can even see me in my coat writting this message to you! Its cold here and I finished my coffee. A couple of days ago my whole room looked like that but now there is an obvious improvement. most of the stuff I want is out and on the floor or in a box and all the stuff I dont want is out and on the floor or in a box/bin! As you might have guessed; the stuff I am keeping probably holds the same value as the crap I am getting rid of.
Oh yeah, that really is me, I just trimmed my beard and had a little taken off the top ;)
Heres some of the boxes that I have emptied of rubbish, there were four of them. I think I am keeping two of them full of stuff like text books and bits that I'd like to keep, and probably a cardboard box of clothes.
It was really easy to start off with... if the item has sentimental value more than worth or use then it generally gets thrown away. there are a few things that I won't throw away that I think perhaps I should, like my jeans, you know, the grey ones with the massive gashes in the knees. Right I think I will actually get back to the stuff cull.
